When you first took a look at affiliate marketing, the concept seemed so simple you figured you give it a shot. Nothing wrong with that, after all it doesn't really cost anything to get started or so you thought. Now you're at it for awhile and you're thinking, where's all this money people are talking about?
If you want to start making money as an affiliate, you 're gonna have to keep it simple. I know, easier said than done right? Actually it can be if you can wrap your mind around focusing on doing basic things over and over again.
As an affiliate you have to find a product people are looking for and sell it to them, not too difficult right?
So how come it's not working? There are a couple of reasons I can think of off the top of my head.
One, maybe nobody's looking for the product your offering. Let's face it, no matter how you promote it, if nobody is looking for it, you ain't gonna sell it. Did that sound a little hard? Sorry, but it's the truth.
The other reason that comes to mind is maybe you're not driving enough traffic to your offer to begin with. Sales is a numbers game, plain and simple and if your numbers are low then you can't reasonably expect to make any money.
If you want to start making money as an affiliate, stick to the basics. Promote products people are looking for and take a focused approach to driving traffic. Don't try to do it all, because you'll only be shooting yourself in the foot.
